Dans Paris

From Puri, India to Paris, France, during the Hindu festival of Rath Yatra, huge chariots with wooden wheels are pulled by hand through the city streets, and along with them come chants, dances, drums, flower garlands, kurtas, saris, and tilaked foreheads.  In the photographs above, this fleeting breeze of “peace & love” sweeps past the peep shows and sex shops of Rue Saint-Denis.
